Tenacious

I needed to see reality, but it wasn’t what I wanted to see. My head was my world and there was no chance of me giving it all up to face the sinister world we live in today. I had a tenacious grip on my world, I never want to let go. To grasp reality would be to lose happiness and I’d rather be seen as in denial than constantly focused on the real world.
